It was not bad. There were some moments that caused me to wonder what Bruno Heller is smoking and if I can have some too.
Things I really liked:
And my word, why so pretty Simon Baker? It's almost not right.
- Bertram. Slimey political type or Red John operative? Given that Michael Gaston has joined the cast of Unforgettable it's likely that Bertram is just a slimey political type.
- Where the hell was LaRoche?
- Seriously? A hair dryer? Bruno have you never watched Mythbusters? You can't kill people that way.
- And don't get me started on the trial. Yeah, I mean I'm glad he wasn't guilty but honestly. He hypnotized the jury. That's what I believe.
- And the ending. . . So kids it's not the post Red John era after all. So who was Timothy Carter? The guy who did kill Angela and Charlotte or just another brainwashed minion? Is Red John more than one person? Did the psycho wife know about Red John or was it just the couple that kidnaps a cheerleader together stays together? It did seem like a major cop-out.
Things I really liked:
- Lisbon. Fan fiction so often makes one think that Lisbon completely would turn her back on Jane. That she would hate him. I kept thinking, that's not like her. She does love him (whether or not that means she's in love with him or not is a matter for debate). She's barely recovering and she rushes out of the hospital to see him. The relief in his face and that smile when he sees her. I think he was worried for a second. And she and her team band together to help him. She believes him immediately with no question. There were some shippy moments too. Communicated through eye contact and smiles. I think he almost wanted to touch her when she picked him up at the courthouse. But since it's Jane and Lisbon, that doesn't happen.
- Grace: She's bitter and she's angry. But she still is so happy for Jane. Which is exactly in line with what I expected.
And my word, why so pretty Simon Baker? It's almost not right.
